ELECTION 2016: 66 candidates registered in Minsk Oblast

Among the candidates for members of parliament, reported Minsk regional election committee, - 24 women (36.4%)

In the Minsk region registered 66 candidates for deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the sixth convocation, BelTA learned from the Minsk regional election commission.

Among the registered candidates 26 people were nominated by collecting signatures, 24 - labor collectives, 34 - political parties (including the 10 - of the Liberal Democratic Party, 6 - Belarus and the Belarusian Popular Front party of the Communist Party, 5 - the United Civil Party, 3 - Belarusian Social democratic party (Hramada), 2 - Belarusian left party "fair world", 1 -. labor Republican party and justice and the Belarusian patriotic party should be noted that some of the candidates for a seat in parliament put forward two, or even three ways.

Among the candidates for members of parliament, reported the Minsk regional election committee, - 24 women (36.4%), 9 young people aged up to 30 years (13.6%), 4 pensioners (6.1%). Two people are members of the House of Representatives of the current convocation.

Regarding the areas of activity in which the work to fight for a parliamentary seat, is dominated by employees of education, culture, science, health care (13 people) and industry, transport, construction (also 13), representatives of state bodies (7), entrepreneurs (4) .

Recall, the application for registration filed in the Minsk region 89 contenders for a seat in parliament. According to the regional election committee, 19 people had been denied registration as candidates for deputies of the Parliament, 4 of the statement of consent to run has been withdrawn.

In accordance with the law to 10 September, registered candidates have the right to agitate voters: pickets, post election program on bulletin boards and in the media, etc.

In the Minsk region to monitor the election campaign and vote for candidates for the House of Representatives members accredited 154 people, formed 17 constituencies.

Elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the sixth convocation scheduled for 11 September.
