Slutsk Cheese Factory is considering the possibility of launching direct supplies to Russia and Estonia, Slutsk Cheese Factory Director General Anatoly Stetsko said at a business cooperation forum in Slutsk on 30 September, BelTA has learned.
He invited Russian and Estonian businessmen to discuss the prospects for launching direct supplies of products, from the manufacturer to the consumer. “I think this will be beneficial for the enterprises, as well as for any manufacturer. The fewer intermediaries, the lower the markup,” Anatoly Stetsko explained.
Slutsk Cheese Factory is one of the largest dairy enterprises in Belarus. Together with its subsidiaries, it processes some 1,600 – 1,700 tonnes of milk per day. Some 65% of the output is exported.
