Belarusian automaker BelAZ reports 42.6% increase in export in January-September

BelAZ exported 95.7% of its output, with the vehicles shipped to 28 countries

In January-September 2018 the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ increased export by 42.6% in comparison with the same period of last year, BelTA has learned.

BelAZ exported 95.7% of its output, with the vehicles shipped to 28 countries. Sales to the CIS states more than doubled in monetary terms in comparison with January-September 2017. In monetary terms BelAZ' sales have already exceeded last year's figures. In January-September 2018 the company shipped $803.1 million worth of vehicles while the last year's figure was $794.7 million.

Haul trucks with the carrying capacity of 110-130 tonnes, 220-240 tonnes, and 45 tonnes were the top sellers. According to preliminary data, when measured in effective prices, the company's industrial output rose by 60.1% in comparison with January-September 2017. This year BelAZ has been working hard to increase the output of competitive products, implement innovative projects, and expand the choice of available vehicles.

The public joint-stock company (OAO) BelAZ is the world's largest manufacturer of haul trucks with a large carrying capacity and an extremely large carrying capacity. The company also makes other kinds of heavy transport vehicles for the mining industry and the civil engineering industry.
