Vladimir Vashchenko said: “There are plans to set up a Belarusian-Chinese center on fire safety and industrial safety in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. We've suggested setting up a working group, which will include specialists of the two ministries and will work on the matter.”

The official said that taking care of fire safety and industrial safety is a top priority for the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry. “A new fire station will be commissioned in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone this year. It will be staffed with highly trained specialists, modern fire-fighting and rescue vehicles and equipment,” noted the emergencies minister.

While in Belarus the Chinese delegation was made familiar with the national center for managing and responding to emergencies and with the Belarusian experience of training emergency response specialists. In particular, as they visited the Civil Protection University of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry the Chinese specialists were made familiar with the software used by the university, with the history of the university, classrooms, the library, physical infrastructure and the organization of the educational process, and the living standards the students enjoy.
