The emblem and the flag of Minsk Oblast

The Minsk Oblast Emblem Regulation  

The emblem and the flag of Minsk Oblast were established by the Decree of  the President of the Republic of Belarus of 22 November 2007 №595

1. The Minsk Oblast Emblem is its official heraldic symbol. The Minsk Oblast Emblem is the property of Minsk Oblast, Minsk Oblast Executive Committee has the right to dispose of it.

2. The image of the Minsk Oblast Emblem is located on the buildings where there are bodies of local governance and self-governance of Minsk Oblast, as well as in the meeting-rooms of these bodies and in the offices of their leaders. The image of the Minsk Oblast Emblem can be located in areas of Minsk Oblast, where the law provides for location of the National Emblem of the Republic of Belarus. In case of simultaneous location of the National Emblem of the Republic of Belarus, the Minsk Oblast Emblem and other emblems, their location is determined by the Law of the Republic of Belarus, July, 5 2004 «On the State Symbols of the Republic of Belarus» (The National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2004, № 111, 2 / 1050). The image of the Minsk Oblast Emblem can also be used during state and public holidays, festive events held by state bodies and other entities; people, labour, family celebrations and events dedicated to memorable dates.

3. The right to use the image of the Minsk Oblast Emblem, in cases not mentioned in paragraph 2 of this Regulation, may be granted by a decision of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.

The Minsk Oblast Emblem description. The Minsk Oblast Emblem is a French board, in the gold box of which three are three wavy blue belts. In the upper right part of the board - the Minsk City Emblem. On the head of the emblem there is a large golden crown with five teeth, in the bottom of it there are two golden oak branches, twined and connected by a blue ribbon.

The Minsk Oblast Flag Regulation

2. The Minsk Oblast Flag desciption. The Minsk Oblast Flag is a rectangular banner of red colour with a ratio of 1:2, in its centre of the front side there is the Minsk Oblast Emblem.
