Most polling stations for the republican referendum were formed in Minsk region

5,510 polling stations have been formed in Belarus for the national referendum to be held on February 27. This was reported to the CEC.

The largest number of polling stations was formed in Gomel and Minsk regions (977 and 929 respectively), 883 in Brest region, 714 in Vitebsk, 707 in Mogilev, 608 in Grodno and 692 in Minsk. Among them - 217 sites in sanatoriums, dispensaries, hospitals and other medical institutions, and 12 - in military units.

After the formation of precincts, the nomination of representatives to precinct referendum commissions begins. Each of the commissions will include from 5 to 19 people.
